1. Objective

This policy defines the possible access, use or sharing of personal data stored on a client device on which software developed and distributed on behalf of BORA Solutions Ltd., including under the trademark BORA Business Suite, is installed. The aim of the policy is to create transparency in the relationship between us and users regarding the use of personal data.

2. Scope of applicability

The policy is applicable to all versions of the BORA Business Suite software series for Android.

3. Definitions

  1. Personal data in the context of our programs includes contacts, photos, phone status (such as wake/rest), geographic location (determined by GSM cell or GPS), names, phone numbers and/or addresses in the context of the application.
  2. BORA Business Suite is an exclusive trademark of BORA Solutions Ltd.
  3. Bound software: a software product designed and distributed only as an add-on for remote/mobile use of BORA Business Suite software products purchased by the customer.

4. Information

  1. In our bound software, the connection to your device is based on communication over the Internet. That is why we need access to your phone’s features that are responsible for these services.
  2. Where you want to be notified of certain events, we need to display notifications on the home screen of the mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and “wake it up” when necessary. This feature requires permission to access the phone status.
  3. For certain product features, it may be possible to enter personal data such as address, contact person, contact telephone number(s), email addresses, etc. This personal data is used solely to implement the product’s features. The data is not further processed, exchanged or shared with third parties.
  4. For features related to geographic tracking, we record and display the position as part of the general information about the device.
  5. For features related to video image generation (such as barcode capture), we need access to the device camera.
  6. To be able to store images, we need access to the storage of the phone/tablet: internal memory or SD card.

5. Ownership of the data

  1. BORA Solutions Ltd., in its role as the developer and owner of the software products, reserves all rights not expressly granted to users in the license agreement. Software products are not sold, but licensed for use by users.
  2. With regard to the collection and/or sharing of data processed by software developed and distributed on behalf of BORA Solutions Ltd., the “first party” and owner of the data is the user to whom the product is licensed, and not BORA Solutions Ltd.
  3. User data processed by the software (excluding the software itself) belongs to the respective user to whom the respective software developed and distributed on behalf of BORA Solutions Ltd. is licensed.
  4. The data (without the software) processed by the bound software is part of the data of the respective main software developed and distributed on behalf of BORA Solutions Ltd. and licensed for use by the relevant user.

6. Declaration

BORA Solutions Ltd. does not collect, exchange or share personal data entered into the bound software from the BORA Business Suite family.

7. Changes

BORA Solutions Ltd. reserves the right to update this policy at any time in order to comply with new or changed features in the bound software or the devices for which it is intended.
