ECOD COMARCH
The BORA ECOD COMARCH module connects BORA Business Suite directly to the international EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) platform COMARCH. With it, documents with the large retail chains are exchanged entirely electronically.

The solution is for manufacturers, distributors and traders of any size. The supplier’s and the buyer’s systems “talk” to each other directly. Paper, e-mails and manual entry give way to a secure and fast exchange of structured data.
Which documents are exchanged
BORA ECOD COMARCH covers the whole trade cycle with these standard documents:
- ORDERS (electronic order): the chain’s order enters BORA Business Suite as a ready sales document, with no delay, retyping or missed items.
- ORDRSP (order confirmation): you tell the buyer automatically what is available and what will be delivered.
- DESADV (dispatch advice, goods receipt): before the goods arrive, the buyer’s warehouse receives an exact list of the pallets, batches and cartons and takes the goods in quickly at the ramp.
- INVOIC (electronic invoice): after dispatch, the invoice goes straight into the partner’s accounting system. Matching is quick, and payment arrives on time.
What the business gains
- Documents arrive and are processed in seconds, and you can respond to demand straight away.
- Data is transferred automatically, so there are no wrong item codes, units of measure or prices. The risk of penalties from the large chains goes down.
- Information arrives on time, and the warehouse, routes and delivery schedules are planned precisely.
- Staff do not lose time on manual entry, and the costs of paper, printing, couriers, archiving and phone confirmations fall.
- The exchange runs over encrypted and certified channels, and every document has a receipt and processing status (audit trail).
Frequently asked questions about BORA ECOD COMARCH
Do we have to be a large corporation to use BORA ECOD COMARCH?
No. The module is useful for companies of any size. If you are a small or medium-sized manufacturer or distributor and want your goods sold in the large international and national chains (Metro, Kaufland, Billa, Lilly, dm and others), they often make EDI integration a condition before the partnership even starts.
What happens if the price in the customer’s order differs from the price in our ERP system?
When the order (ORDERS) is imported, the module compares the prices with the agreed price lists in BORA Business Suite. If there is a difference, the operator gets a message and the automatic confirmation stops. You clear up the difference with the buyer before the goods leave the warehouse.
How does the module deal with different product codes (we use one set of codes and the chain uses another)?
Through barcodes to the global standard (EAN / GTIN). In the BORA Business Suite catalogue each item has its barcode. The EDI messages through Comarch carry exactly these codes, so the software recognises the product whatever it is called in the buyer’s system.
Do we need to buy extra software from Comarch, or is the module in BORA BS enough?
The module is built into your ERP system, and you work in the environment you know. You only need a contract with the EDI operator Comarch for the communication channel (mailbox) through which BORA BS sends and receives the files.
