BORA Store
BORA Store is the BORA Business Suite mobile app for the warehouse. With it, logistics inside the warehouse are well organised, staff work faster and there are few errors in receiving and dispatch.

The app turns ordinary smartphones and tablets, or industrial terminals, into mobile workstations. Every movement of goods is visible and can be traced.
What BORA Store can do
Goods movements in real time
- Receipts, issues and moves of materials, goods and finished products are handled from the device.
- Stock levels are visible at once, so the sales department and production work with current data.
- Customer orders are picked and prepared faster and more accurately (Picking and Packing).
GS1 standards and industrial devices
- It works with the professional mobile terminals of Zebra Technologies through the DataWedge API, so scanning is fast.
- Warehouse operations run with barcode labels to the international GS1 standard. Batches, serial numbers and expiry dates are read accurately.
- It connects over a local network (LAN), Wi-Fi or mobile internet, and to external wireless barcode readers over Bluetooth.
Stocktaking with several people at once
- Several employees count in the same warehouse at the same time. The data from the devices is gathered automatically in the ERP system, the count finishes much faster, and the business does not stop working.
What gets better
- The interface is clear, and warehouse staff get used to it quickly, without long training.
- Wrong deliveries, mixed-up items on receipt and shortages at stocktaking go down noticeably.
- Every operation is recorded with the operator, the date and the time, which makes internal audits easier.
- Offline mode allows work in parts of the warehouse with poor Wi-Fi coverage.
Which companies is it for?
BORA Store suits:
- distribution and trade warehouses with many orders to process quickly;
- manufacturing companies that track raw materials from the warehouse to the line and receive finished goods;
- logistics centres that want lower stocktaking costs and barcode automation.
Frequently asked questions about BORA Store
Do we need Zebra terminals to use BORA Store?
No. BORA Store is tuned for Zebra devices through the DataWedge API, but it works on any Android smartphone or tablet. Barcodes are scanned with the phone camera or with an inexpensive pocket Bluetooth reader.
How do several users take stock at the same time without duplicating data?
When the count starts, the software assigns the sectors, or each employee scans their own zone. All scanned items are gathered straight away in the BORA Business Suite database. The system adds up the quantities for the same code from the different operators, so nothing is duplicated or missed.
How does GS1 barcode support help with food or medicines?
An ordinary barcode holds only the product code. GS1 barcodes (GS1-128 or DataMatrix, for example) combine the item code, the batch, the serial number and the expiry date in one symbol. Once they are scanned with BORA Store, this data fills in the document by itself, and every unit can be traced (traceability).
What happens if an employee goes deep into the warehouse where the Wi-Fi signal drops?
Work goes on. The employee scans and fills in the warehouse slip without a connection, and the app keeps the transactions in the device’s memory. Once back in an area with Wi-Fi or a mobile network, the data goes to the ERP system automatically.
