Human Resources
BORA Human Resources (BORA HR) is the ERP system for the people in the company. It was created for organisations with a branched structure, holdings and manufacturing companies.

The system covers the employee’s whole path in the company: recruitment, career development, the electronic file, complex schedules, payroll and electronic submission of data to the NRA and the NSSI.
The modules of BORA HR
Organisational structure and staffing plan
The basis for workforce planning, in line with the Labour Code:
- the organisational structure, job descriptions and headcount are kept flexibly and serve as the basis for the budget;
- internal work norms and working schedules are set in line with the legislation on summarised working time (SIRV).
Personnel and the electronic employment file
Administrative work with staff is done in the system:
- Employment history is kept electronically and follows the unified electronic employment record. It is kept by the NRA and since 1 June 2025 has replaced the paper employment record book.
- Employment contracts, supplementary agreements, orders and requests are created in BORA DMS from the approved company templates.
- The electronic file keeps personal data, qualifications, medical certificates and pay history protected.
Time recording and schedules
Days and hours of attendance are not counted by hand:
- Attendance and absences are entered in Form 76. Together with the documents from Personnel, Form 19 is produced from it automatically.
- Time worked, night work, public holidays, overtime and complex shift schedules are calculated automatically.
- Individual and team piecework from the production and service modules of BORA IS comes in directly (IRZ).
Salaries and payrolls
Taxes and social security contributions are processed accurately:
- different pay systems are supported: time-based, standard-based, tariff, fixed and individual performance-based pay (IRZ);
- the files for the NRA (Declarations No. 1 and No. 6), the NSSI (sick leave certificates), the banks (bulk salary payments) and the pension funds are created automatically and sent encrypted.
Mobile apps and Employee Self-Service
Employees do part of the administrative work themselves, from their phones:
- With the BORA HR leave app they request paid or unpaid leave, see how many days they have left under the Labour Code, send the request to their manager for approval and look at their payslips.
- With BORA Time Tracker they mark the start and end of the working day together with their location. Management follows the time by employee, project and task.
Frequently asked questions about personnel management
How does BORA HR help with summarised working time (SIRV)?
From the schedules and shifts in Form 76, the software checks that the legal requirements for daily and weekly rest are met. At the end of the reference period, 3 or 4 months for example, BORA BS calculates the accumulated hours of overtime and night work with the correct coefficients.
Can production piecework turn into salary automatically?
Yes. Work cards from the Production, Service and Projects modules go to the payroll module. There they are calculated as individual performance-based pay and included in the payroll, with no manual transfer of data.
How is personal data protection (GDPR) ensured in the digital files?
With roles. Who sees employment records, medical data and salaries depends on the employee’s role. System administrators see only the technical settings, Personnel handles the files, and payroll specialists have access only to the financial part.
How are leave requests sent from the mobile app reflected in the system?
The employee submits the request in the BORA HR leave app and the line manager gets a notification. Once it is approved, the document enters the ERP system: the file in Personnel is updated and the absence is marked in Form 76 for the month.
