Personnel
The Personnel module in BORA HR is a protected place for all personnel information. Everything goes through it: hiring, career moves, leave, sick leave and the end of the contract. Documents are kept to the requirements of labour legislation.

The routine work of the personnel department is automated, documents come out of templates, and the history of every employee is kept.
How the Personnel module is built
Electronic file (employee record)
Personal, employment and regulatory data sit in one place, in a database with controlled access:
- The record holds everything payroll needs: pay system, NKPD codes and NKPN categories, labour category, types of social security by the NRA’s code list, length of service and the economic activity code (KID) for the minimum insurable income.
- The company can add its own fields (additional attributes): workwear size, decisions of the medical expert commission (TELK), company transport lines and more.
The unified electronic employment record
- Since 1 June 2025 the paper employment record book has been replaced by the unified electronic employment record, kept by the NRA. The module follows these requirements.
- It keeps all the data and circumstances of the employees’ work and length of service, ready for the institutions.
Documents from templates and the link with BORA DMS
Contracts and orders are not written by hand:
- documents are filled in from ready Word templates with the data from the employee record, then go for approval;
- each employee has a protected electronic folder with the documents from the ERP system and the scanned files (diplomas, medical certificates and others);
- through BORA DMS, internal notes, certificates, references and official letters are issued straight away.
Staff movements
As soon as a personnel document is entered and activated, its codes go to Form 19 (the staff movement form). Payroll has the data it needs at once. The supported documents are:
- employment relationships: employment contracts, management and control contracts, civil contracts, supplementary agreements;
- staff movements: orders for paid and unpaid leave, orders terminating the employment relationship;
- cash benefits from state social insurance: sick leave certificates, maternity benefits and childcare benefits.
Self-service with BORA HR Mobile
Employees reach some services themselves, through a web-based mobile app. It is easy to install, and access is protected:
- everyone sees how many days of leave are due under the Labour Code and how many have already been used;
- the leave request is submitted from the phone, the form is printed automatically, and the approval status is visible.
Frequently asked questions about the Personnel module
How does the unified electronic employment record change the work of the personnel department in BORA HR?
Paper employment record books are no longer filled in and stamped. Changes to salaries, positions, supplementary agreements and terminations are recorded in the software automatically. When someone leaves, the system exports the employee’s full employment history electronically.
What happens in accounting when a sick leave certificate is entered in the Personnel module?
Once the sick leave is entered in the record, the absence code goes to Form 19. In the monthly payroll, the payroll module recognises the period, splits the days paid by the employer (the first days) from those paid by the NSSI and prepares the file with the data on state social insurance cash benefits.
Can we add fields to the employee record that the law does not require?
Yes, through the additional attributes. If you give employees company clothing, personal protective equipment or public transport cards, you add such fields and track them in the record.
How does the software protect documents from unauthorised access or deletion?
The register sits in a database with controlled access and is linked to BORA DMS. Every view of personal data, every edit of a contract and every upload of a scanned document requires explicit role-based permissions and leaves a trail.
