Projects
BORA Project Management (BORA PM) is the tool for planning, day-to-day management and financial reporting of projects of every kind. Tasks are tracked, resources are allocated sensibly, and the margin of each project is known.

It suits classic projects such as construction, research and development and marketing campaigns. It also works for Case Management, where each case or business matter is kept as a separate unit.
How BORA PM is built
Planning and resources
Schedules, budgets and team workload are visible before the project even starts:
- a new project can start from a template with ready phases, tasks and timing;
- the three kinds of resources (labour, machinery and equipment, materials) are planned together, in quantity and in money;
- each phase gets its workers, line managers and project managers, each with their own permissions and role.
Execution and personal reporting
People’s daily work turns into data on the progress of the project:
- daily reports are entered on site or in the office, and the goods issue documents for the materials used come out of them automatically;
- each employee reports tasks on a work card, and the system calculates the labour put in, the percentage complete and the piecework pay;
- the project profile has a protected space for discussions, case topics, opinions and attached files.
Links with the other BORA Business Suite modules
The advantage of BORA PM is that it is connected to the finance, accounting and administrative modules of the ERP platform:
- Each project is a separate cost object in management accounting. Income and expenses are tracked from automatically posted accounting data, with plan versus actual analysis.
- With BORA Billing System, project costs and labour hours are calculated and invoiced to the customer according to the contract.
- The labour and piecework recorded on the work cards go automatically to BORA HR / payroll and become the basis for individual salaries.
- For a new project the system creates a protected folder in the file system. The contracts, quotes, drawings and protocols for the project are kept there.
Working time from your phone with BORA Time Tracker
Working time is easier to record with the BORA Time Tracker mobile app.
It is linked to the Projects module. Employees in the office and at remote sites mark the start and end of the working day and say which project and task they worked on. Management sees how many person-hours were actually put in.
Frequently asked questions about project management
What does it mean that a project is treated as a “cost object” in BORA BS?
The project is a separate financial unit in the ERP system, not just a list of tasks. Every material bought, the fuel for the machinery and the salaries posted to the project build up in its accounting file. So at any moment you know whether it is making money.
Can the hours worked on a project be invoiced to customers automatically?
Yes, through BORA Billing System. The system collects the approved hours from the work cards or from BORA Time Tracker and issues an invoice to the customer at the agreed hourly rates.
How does BORA PM help with logistics and delivering materials to projects?
Through the project delivery schedule. From the materials in the tasks, the system checks the stock in the central warehouses and plans what to deliver to the site and when, so the work does not stop.
How are security and access to information controlled in the module?
With roles. Who sees the budgets, who edits tasks and who signs off phases depends on the person’s role in the project: worker, project manager, financial controller.
