Finance

BORA Financial Management (BORA FM) is the ERP module for the company’s cash flow (Cash Flow), liquidity and financial assets. Its data is up to date at any moment.

Finance

All company portfolios are visible in one place. The system tracks receivables and payables by itself, and you draw up accurate forecast balances. Payments to and from customers, suppliers and employees stay under control.

What the BORA FM finance module can do

Open payments and due dates

Every receivable or payable automatically creates an “Open payment” record in the cash flow. Analysis, forecasts and control of company capital are built on these records.

  • One open payment can be split into parts. Several payments can also be merged into one by type, currency, due date or portfolio.
  • You set your own payment terms and schedules, leasing plans and automatic interest on late payments.
  • Customers with overdue debts get an e-mail reminder without anyone writing it by hand.
  • When exchange rates change, open payments are recalculated automatically.

Financial portfolios and settlement

Each source of money is kept as a separate portfolio: a bank account, a cash desk, an accountable person, barter deals, electronic payments.

  • Bank statements are imported using templates and criteria you set in advance. The system recognises the data and fills it in.
  • Through a direct B2B connection (EDI) with Bankservice (BORICA), statements arrive over a secure channel straight into the ERP system.
  • Payment documents are matched to open payments quickly and can be unmatched just as easily.

Exchange rates in one place

Bank, customs and commercial exchange rates are entered and kept in one shared register. Their history is kept by period, and exchange differences are recorded automatically.

Cash Flow analysis and reports

BORA FM turns operational data into management reports. If your group has several legal entities, a holding for example, the system also keeps a consolidated cash balance.

The ready-made analyses and charts include:

  • daily and forecast cash balance for future periods;
  • cash flow by counterparty and by payment basis (operating, investing or financing activity);
  • receivables and payables sorted by due date;
  • income and expenses by business responsibility centre;
  • payment documents that are not yet matched.

SAF-T and working in euro

BORA FM has a separate module for the SAF-T requirements. It exports financial and accounting data in the NRA’s unified format.

The system works fully in euro. Invoices, price lists, accounting balances and financial statements are kept directly in euro. If you need it, it also supports parallel reporting with prices shown in both euro and leva.

Frequently asked questions about BORA FM

What is the “Open payments” tool in BORA FM?

It tracks every receivable and payable that arises. From the agreed payment terms and due dates it builds an accurate cash flow forecast.

Does the software receive bank statements automatically?

Yes. Through BORA EDI and the direct connection to Bankservice (BORICA), statements arrive over a secure channel. The software recognises the payments and matches them to the documents.

Can BORA FM manage the finances of holding structures?

Yes. Where there are several related legal entities, BORA FM keeps a consolidated cash balance, and management sees the liquidity of the whole group.

How are exchange rates entered in the system?

In the shared currency register. You can enter the official rates of the Bulgarian National Bank, customs rates or internal commercial rates for a given period.
