Industry Solutions

BORA Industry Solutions (BORA IS) is an ERP platform for industry. You use it to plan, manage and control discrete and continuous production, repair work and complex logistics chains.

Industry Solutions

Materials, technologies and people are visible in one system. As soon as something is reported, management sees how far production has got, what the cost is and how loaded the capacity is.

The industry modules in BORA IS

Discrete and continuous production (BORA Manufacturing)

An MRP system (Material Requirements Planning) that runs the whole production cycle:

  • production orders are created automatically from active sales and from forecasts;
  • route sheets (Route Sheets), technological processes, stages and individual operations are described precisely and tracked;
  • before a start, the system checks whether there are raw materials, components, free machines and qualified people;
  • the labour put in (piecework) and the materials issued are recorded precisely and go straight into the accounting of BORA Business Suite.

Projects and resources (BORA Project)

For work that unfolds over time: construction, repairs, research and development, marketing.

  • The project is split into phases and tasks with deadlines, budgets and owners.
  • People, materials and money are allocated to the projects, with Gantt charts and schedules.
  • Work done is reported every day, and deviations from the plan show up automatically.

Service and warranty support (BORA Service)

For service centres, equipment maintenance and after-sales service:

  • repair orders are received, classified and given a deadline in the system;
  • for machines and devices, the life cycle, the maintenance schedules and the warranty periods are tracked;
  • the technicians’ piecework and the spare parts used are calculated automatically, and at the end an invoice is issued to the customer.

Distribution, shipment and forwarding (BORA Shipment)

The last stage of the supply chain, when the goods set off to the customer:

  • loading, unloading and deliveries are arranged according to the schedules of the customer orders;
  • routes are planned automatically so that trucks are filled well by volume and weight;
  • handover protocols, goods receipts and invoices go out with the shipment, and the settlements for the delivery are recorded.

Vehicle fleet (BORA Fleet Management)

A back-office system for company transport and machinery:

  • data from the GPS systems arrives automatically (B2B) and the trip logs are made from it;
  • refuelling from petrol station chains is imported, and the real mileage is compared with the consumption norms;
  • the system reminds you about insurance (third-party liability, comprehensive cover), vignettes, annual technical inspections, replacement of consumables and maintenance.

Frequently asked questions about the production and industry solutions

How does BORA Manufacturing help keep stock levels right in production?

The MRP calculations take the active customer orders and show which raw materials they need. The system compares them with the stock in the warehouses and creates purchase orders to suppliers straight away. Machines do not wait for material, and the warehouse does not fill up with surplus stock.

Can BORA Fleet Management detect fuel misuse?

Yes. The system compares the distance travelled by GPS with the fuel invoiced by the petrol stations. If consumption on a route goes above the set norm, it shows up at once in a report for management.

Does BORA Project track the financial cost of projects?

Yes. BORA Project is part of the ERP platform. Every cost posted to the project (materials, salaries, transport, external services) builds up automatically in its file. The margin and profitability are visible at any moment.

How is employee piecework recorded in the Production and Service modules?

Through a system of standard times. The technological cards and the service orders hold a standard time and rate for each operation. When an employee finishes a task, the piecework is recorded automatically and goes to the payroll module (HR/payroll).
