Purpose of the procedure:
The aim of this measure is to raise the efficiency of production processes, achieve higher productivity, reduce production costs and optimise the production chain by providing grants to SMEs.
The expected effect is to restore the economic potential enterprises had before the COVID pandemic and to create conditions for their growth and development by digitising production processes, in order to expand or diversify the SMEs’ activities.
Enterprises will receive support to buy new technological equipment, with a focus on digitising production processes and expanding production capacity and/or diversifying the products/services offered.
Application deadline:
22 July to 21 September 2022, 16:30.
Budget:
The total amount of grant funding is BGN 260 million.
Project implementation period
Each investment proposal must be carried out within no more than 12 months from the date the funding contract with the final recipient takes effect.
Eligible applicants:
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises under the SME Act.
1) Registered no later than 31.12.2019.
2) Net sales revenue in total for the last three closed financial years (2019, 2020 and 2021), depending on the category of the applicant enterprise, as follows:

for micro enterprises >= BGN 210 thousand

3) Net sales revenue for the 2021 financial year, depending on the category of the applicant enterprise, as follows:

Eligible costs will be:
1. Buying machines, facilities and equipment that are tangible fixed assets
2. Costs of buying software that is an intangible fixed asset, including:
- costs of acquiring specialised software;
- costs of acquiring ERP systems, CRM systems and/or MOM/MES systems, up to BGN 50,000.

- For micro enterprises: BGN 180 thousand, but no more than 100% of the average annual net sales revenue for the three years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
- For small enterprises: BGN 350 thousand, but no more than 60% of the average annual net sales revenue for the three years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
- For medium-sized enterprises: BGN 700 thousand, but no more than 25% of the average annual net sales revenue for the three years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
