What’s new in Build 8.2.023
Counterparties
A “Check” button has been added to the counterparty form. Choosing it runs a check on the EU website: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/#/vat-validationVIES, confirmation of a VAT number. If the VAT number is entered correctly, a message comes back with the counterparty’s data. The user can choose whether to update the counterparty’s name and tax address from the result, directly in the database. If the country entered is BG, choosing the “Yes” button also updates the UIC.

Documents
The counterparty filter opened from the new forms can now also search by creation date and date of last change, and by the user who created the record or made the last change.

Supply
In the assistant for generating self-assessment protocols, opened from Supply\Supply\Purchase Documents (2410) > Action tab > Export of self-assessment protocols from purchase invoices, a new step (3) has been added, where you can choose a date for the self-assessment protocols that differs from the invoice date.

Step 3:

A new feature in document lines
In purchase/sales documents (purchase invoices, purchase orders/sales invoices, customer orders), the lines now allow:
a) allocating a discount/surcharge
b) group processing of the list, filling in the “Free text” column with the reference number, barcode or customs code.
The choice is made by ticking. By default all three values are switched on.
These options are available only if the document is in Editing/Proposed.
Materials
The warehouse document form can now import from source documents: purchase orders, customer orders, sales or purchase invoices, production orders and service documents:

When an item with a volume and weight entered is chosen, they are recorded on the lines of the warehouse document.
Warehouse management and monitoring
If the warehouse is in online mode, when a warehouse movement document is closed (placement order, dispatch order and so on), the document date is replaced with today’s date.
Customers
A new global parameter has been added to the Customers module, setting whether batches that do not exist in the database can be entered in sales documents and customer orders.
If the parameter is True, batches and expiry dates that do not exist in the database can be entered in the document lines. When a warehouse document is generated, if the warehouse works by batch and a batch type is set in the product record, the batches written in the document lines are created.

The type of sales document created automatically from customer orders, warehouse documents and other documents where the document type cannot be chosen follows the global parameter DefSaleDocType. By default the parameter is 632.

Human Resources
In personnel documents and in the forecast schedule, choosing the schedule/shift combination 0/0 for a whole month is not allowed.
