BORA BS HR and the link with the access control system

Mar082016

BORA BS HR is a multi-layered human resources management system that allows both operational entry of current data and a wide range of reports and analyses to support management decisions

In BORA BS HR, Form 19, the staff movement form, is a projection of the worker’s or employee’s personal schedule, with the absences entered from personnel documents laid over it.

The result is calculated:

  • Days worked,
  • Hours, standard hours and converted hours worked,
  • Night hours and converted night hours,
  • Extra hours and converted extra hours,
  • Holiday hours and holiday hours worked.

In practice this means that Form 19 reflects what the Human Resources department has planned as attendance for a good-quality work process.

An important measure for management is whether the actual attendance of the staff matches what was planned.

To meet the attendance analysis needs of the management of our client Gotmar EOOD, we added information from the access control system to the staff movement form.

 BORA BS HR and the link with the access control system

Together with our colleagues from Mayning Ltd., the company that developed and implemented the access control system at the client, we agreed on a format in which we receive information every month on the attendance of the company’s workers and employees.

The challenge for the two teams was to develop a mechanism for processing data for shift work where a shift starts and ends on two different calendar days.

Entered in BORA BS HR , the attendance information immediately makes it possible to carry out:

  •  Analysis of attendance outside the planned schedule;
  •  Analysis of absences that have no matching document;
  •  Absences that were not documented;
  •  Correction of errors in the schedules and shifts of workers and employees;
  • Missed changes to a schedule/shift;
  •  Analysis of the hours actually worked against the hours required by the schedule.
