Automatic creation of cash payment vouchers for cashless payments

In the fiscalised version of BORA BS, you set the payment ground to be used for card payments. This is done inOffice Organisation\Administration\Work Processes (0120) > File > Active Reports > Global Settings, parameter H18ReasonOut.

Version 8.2.002 adds automation that creates cash payment vouchers for all of the day’s cash receipt vouchers that have card payment grounds and are not linked to a cash payment voucher.
This is done from the Actions tab of the list Finance\Portfolios\Cash Desk (1202) > Automatic creation of cash payment vouchers for cashless payments.

Pressing the button opens a window where only the cash desk is entered.

This action automatically creates cash payment vouchers for all of the day’s cash receipt vouchers. The amount and counterparty of each payment voucher match those of the related receipt voucher. In the lines of the payment voucher, one of these possible objects is set as the object:

  • If an object of the Bank type has a link to a fiscal cash desk entered and we create a payment voucher in that cash desk, the bank is entered as the object in the lines of the payment voucher.

  • If the income from all card payments arrives at the same bank, that bank is set in a SetUp parameter, so that all cash desks do not have to be linked to the bank account. The parameter is in Office Organisation\Administration\Work Processes (0120) > File > Active Reports > Global Settings > Parameter value:

  • If neither of the previous two is set, the lines of the payment voucher keep the cash desk we are in.

Creating cash payment and receipt vouchers in a fiscal cash desk

The logic for creating, activating and closing cash vouchers in a fiscal cash desk has changed. In earlier versions of BORA BS, pressing the “Payment” button created a receipt or payment voucher in the proposed state, then a command was sent to the fiscal device to print a receipt; the fiscal device returned a response and BORA BS activated the voucher. If the fiscal device returned an error, the voucher was cancelled.

The new approach is as follows: BORA BS creates and activates the voucher, then sends a command to the device to print a fiscal receipt; if the device replies that the fiscal receipt has been printed, the voucher is closed. If BORA BS gets no reply, the voucher stays in the active state.

If the receipt was printed, it can be linked to the voucher through the service functions, and the voucher will be closed. If it was not printed, the balance in BORA BS and the balance on the cash register differ. To bring the two balances into line, the service function Print fiscal receipt is used.

This is done from Finance\Portfolios\Cash Desk (1202) > open the voucher that stayed active, and on the Actions tab choose Service modes, Print fiscal receipt. This prints a fiscal receipt on the fiscal device, and the cash balances in BORA BS and on the fiscal device match.

Customers

Export to an advance invoice

When exporting to an advance invoice, the unit price can be edited. The system checks that the advance amount is not greater than the total amount of the customer order. When exporting to an invoice for the remainder, the quantities and lines of the generated invoice can be corrected downwards. Exporting to an invoice for the remainder a second time is not allowed. If there are remaining quantities, they are exported with the Export to invoice button.
